  Loan Pick-Up Dates


     BRTC Scholarships!!!  New!
       Deadline to apply is April 1
for following year
        

   ■  2009-2010 FAFSA's:   If you have completed your 2008 federal tax
        returns, you may complete the FAFSA for 2009-2010.  Go to
        www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply. 
          
  
  2010-2011 FAFSA's:   If you have completed your 2009 federal tax
        returns, you may complete the FAFSA for 2010-2011.  Go to
        www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply.               
  
     Summer 2011 Financial Aid -  A Pell grant is available  for
        summer to students who qualify.  If you think you are eligible to receive
        a Pell grant this summer, you will need to submit a
         Summer Intent Form to our office after enrolling in Summer '11
         classes to be officially awarded.

      ■    Campus Connect 

            Students should check Campus Connect periodically to view important
            announcements.

            The Business Office and the Financial Aid Office work closely together to
            make sure that each student's Campus Connect screen is updated when
            financial aid refunds are made available
            (ex. Pell, loans, scholarship refunds, etc.)

          Bookstore Charges           

Students receiving financial aid may charge books, supplies, etc., to
            available funds during

the 1st week of classes ONLY  for Fall and Spring semesters.  For
            Summer terms, bookstore charges are permitted for the
1st two days of
            classes ONLY.
  

 

TAA students must have a class schedule to be able to charge books.

    
    Financial Aid for Summer 

            Summer aid is available depending on how much aid a student has received

during the fall and spring semesters.  Those expecting summer aid eligibility

MUST notify the Financial Aid Office upon enrolling for summer classes.

 

         Tax Returns

           If you are unable to file a FAFSA because you do not have your federal tax
           returns, you may request a tax transcript by calling 1-800-TAX-1040.
