■ BRTC participates in the Federal Family Education
Loan Program. To qualify for a student loan,
students must first complete
a FAFSA and then submit a loan application/BRTC
Data Form
to our office.
If applying for a
Summer student loan, you must also submit a
Summer
Intent Form with the loan
application to the
Financial Aid Office. You MUST be enrolled for Summer 2008 courses
before
submitting a loan
application for the Summer sessions.
□ After the loan is approved, the student
will be mailed an award letter by the Financial Aid Office
indicating that the
loan was awarded to him/her.
□ If the student is a first-time borrower
and first-time entering, he will be required to complete
Entrance Loan
Counseling , a Master Promissory Note, and a BRTC Data Form. Neither the
loan
counseling or the MPN will need to be redone for future loans, UNLESS the
student chooses
a different lender or if
he transfers to another college.
